Recently, with the completion of pouring the last roof slab for the Phase I project of Mojiang Road Station on Shanghai Rail Transit Line 23, the main structure of Phase I of Mojiang Road Station has been successfully topped out and completed.

Mojiang Road Station is constructed by China Railway No.2 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. The Phase I project station is 186 meters long, with a standard section width of 20.3 meters, a side wall thickness of 0.4 meters, and a roof slab thickness of 0.8 meters. In only 45 days, the excavation and support work for 68,000 m³ of earthwork was completed, and all main structure construction tasks were completed within 100 days. The project department of the Fifth Branch of the Construction Group ensured safety, controlled quality, and guaranteed progress. It used advanced BIM technology to plan ahead and reasonably arrange the construction sequence. It also prepared a special winter construction plan to ensure the quality of concrete construction in winter.

At present, the Phase II project of Mojiang Road Station has completed all underground diaphragm wall construction tasks and is scheduled to begin excavation after the Spring Festival. In addition, as one of the track-laying bases for Rail Transit Line 23, the topping out of the Phase I main structure of Mojiang Road Station has laid a solid foundation for subsequent shield tunneling and track-laying work, and also marks another acceleration in the construction progress of Line 23.
