Establishment of the Compilation Group for Guangdong Provincial Standard "Technical Standard for Green Reinforcement of Foundations in Building and Municipal Engineering"

and the First Working Meeting Successfully Held‍

On January 4, 2024, the establishment of the compilation group for the Guangdong provincial standard "Technical Standard for Green Reinforcement of Foundations in Building and Municipal Engineering" (hereinafter referred to as the "Standard"), jointly compiled by Tianjin Zhongyan Dadi Material Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Changda Municipal Engineering (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., and its first working meeting were successfully held at the Guangdong Branch of Beijing Zhongyan Dadi Technology Co., Ltd. More than 20 representatives, including relevant leaders and technical experts from multiple participating units, attended the meeting. The "Standard" is developed in accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration on Issuing the 2023 First Batch of Guangdong Provincial Local Standard Formulation and Revision Plan (Yue Shi Jian Biao Zhun [2023] No. 211) forwarded by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

Zhu Xuezhong, Researcher of the Science and Technology Information Division of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, presided over the meeting. Zhu Xuezhong introduced the importance of the "Standard" and the situation of the chief compiling units, read out the list of members of the compilation group, and announced the official establishment of the compilation group. On behalf of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Zhu Xuezhong put forward requirements for the compilation group: actively draw on advanced green foundation reinforcement experience at home and abroad, and combine it with the specific conditions of Guangdong Province to compile a high-quality technical standard.

Professor-level Senior Engineer Chen Wei of Guangdong Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Liu Jianguo, Chief Engineer of Beijing Zhongyan Dadi Technology Co., Ltd., delivered speeches on behalf of the chief compiling units of the "Standard". On behalf of the chief compiling units, they introduced the preliminary preparations, compilation outline, and related matters of the "Standard". The compilation group conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on the relevant content of the "Standard" and determined the compilation outline, task division, schedule, and next-step work arrangements, laying a working foundation for the smooth progress of the compilation work.

The compilation of the "Standard" is conducive to promoting the application of new green reinforcement technologies in Guangdong Province to a greater extent, greatly promoting the development of green reinforcement technology, and leading scientific and technological progress. It is also a concrete implementation of the national development policies of "energy conservation and emission reduction" and the "dual carbon strategy," promoting the rapid development of the foundation treatment field toward greater environmental protection, scientific rigor, and economic efficiency.
