Recently, Changwu County held the centralized commencement ceremony for key projects in the first quarter of 2024.

County Party Secretary He Rui announced the commencement order. County Mayor Wang Gaofeng presided over the ceremony. Zhao Xiaobin, Director of the County People's Congress Standing Committee; Ren Quanzhi, Chairman of the County CPPCC; Sun Bo, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee; and all other county-level leaders present in the county attended. Li Xingguo, Member of the County Party Committee Standing Committee and Executive Deputy County Mayor, introduced the commencement of key engineering projects in the first quarter of 2024. The responsible comrade of the Transportation Bureau, the lead unit of the projects, made a statement of commitment.

In the first quarter of 2024, a total of 23 projects were launched in a centralized manner, with a total investment of 2.15 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 1.89 billion yuan. Among them, there are 8 major industrial engineering projects with a total investment of 1.33 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 1.24 billion yuan; 6 social livelihood projects with a total investment of 360 million yuan and an annual planned investment of 300 million yuan; 7 urban construction infrastructure projects with a total investment of 370 million yuan and an annual planned investment of 260 million yuan; and 2 green development and agriculture, forestry and water conservancy projects with a total investment of 91 million yuan and an annual planned investment of 91 million yuan. The commencement and implementation of these projects will surely inject new impetus, add new momentum and cultivate new advantages for the high-quality economic and social development of our county.

The Pengchang Highway Ya'ergou Bridge Project, led by the County Transportation Bureau, is one of the municipal key projects in 2024. The project has a total investment of 118 million yuan and an annual planned investment of 50 million yuan. Upon completion, the project will radiate and benefit nearly 50,000 people in 34 villages across the two towns of Penggong and Xianggong, greatly facilitating travel and commodity circulation for people along the route, and is of great significance for comprehensively improving the traffic capacity of the northern tableland area of our county, expanding the county framework and coordinating urban and rural development.

The Party (Working) Committee Secretaries and Town Mayors (Directors) of all towns (subdistricts), the principal responsible comrades of the county Party Committee and county-level state organs' various departments, directly affiliated institutions and people's organizations, as well as some system formations and construction formations, participated in the commencement activity.
