Subsequently, Ding Xuexiang went to Lanyou Technology Co., Ltd., a private high-tech enterprise, to inspect the census registration of units below designated size and ask about specific information such as production and operations, R&D activities, and employee wages that enterprises need to report. He said that China's new economy is developing rapidly, and the transformation of industries toward digitalization, intelligence, and green development has yielded fruitful results. It is necessary to do a good job in statistics on new industries, new forms of business, and new models, so as to provide a reliable basis for formulating more precise and effective policy measures and accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces. Census registration should be carried out in a standardized manner, the personal information and commercial secrets of census subjects should be strictly protected, and the data on units and individuals obtained through the census should be strictly limited to use for economic census purposes.
