On December 25, the press conference for the second 'New Hunan Contribution Award' and the '2023 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Hunan' was held in Changsha. Sui Zhongcheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department, Qin Guowen, Vice Governor, and Zhang Jian, Vice Chairman of the Provincial CPPCC and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended.

Xiang Wenbo, Party Secretary and Rotating Chairman of SANY Group, and Chairman of SANY Heavy Industry, was awarded the title of 'Advanced Individual of the New Hunan Contribution Award', and SANY Group ranked ** on the 2023 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Hunan list.

The 'New Hunan Contribution Award' is selected and commended in the name of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People's Government, aiming to showcase the achievements of private economy development in Hunan Province and encourage private enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises to carry forward the spirit of outstanding entrepreneurs and better play their role. The selection is held every two years. Since its launch in 2021, it has become an important platform for commending private enterprises and entrepreneurs in the province.

After comprehensive review, this year 80 enterprises were determined as proposed recipients of the Advanced Collective of the Second New Hunan Contribution Award, and 100 individuals including Xiang Wenbo were determined as proposed recipients of the Advanced Individual of the Second New Hunan Contribution Award.

As a national outstanding entrepreneur, Xiang Wenbo is a Standing Committee Member of the 13th Executive Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice President of the China Construction Machinery Association, a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a deputy to the 11th National People's Congress, and an expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. He has been awarded honors including the 2020 National Model Worker, Forbes China Best CEO in 2021, 2020, 2013, 2012, and 2010, the 2021-2022 National Outstanding Entrepreneur, the 2002 Bauhinia Cup Outstanding Entrepreneur, the Forbes 2011 Best CEO of A-share Non-state-owned Listed Companies, the 2009 National Machinery Industry Model Worker, the 2008 China Top Ten Outstanding CEO, and the 2002 China Outstanding Private Technology Entrepreneur.

The '2023 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Hunan' is proposed by the Hunan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce based on this year's survey of large-scale private enterprises in the province, ranked by operating revenue in 2022. SANY Group topped the list with an operating revenue exceeding 126.2 billion yuan.

The receipt of the 'One Award' and 'One List' reflects the high recognition by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government of Xiang Wenbo's outstanding contributions as a private entrepreneur, and further demonstrates SANY's high-quality development.
