The Shiziyang Channel Project is located between Nansha Bridge and Humen Bridge, with an estimated investment of approximately 41.986 billion yuan. It starts in Dagang Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou, and ends in Humen Town, Dongguan, with a total length of about 35 kilometers and eight lanes in both directions. The river-crossing section adopts a double-deck bridge scheme, using a double-deck steel truss suspension bridge with a main span of 2,180 meters to achieve a "single-span river crossing"; no piers will be built in the middle of the river. It will set five world records in "main span length, number of lanes, main tower height, anchorage foundation, and main cable scale."
