On the morning of November 29, a opening ceremony was held for the Naxi Yangtze River Bridge in Luzhou, Sichuan. The bridge spans the Naxi and Jiangyang districts of Luzhou. After opening, travel time between residents on the two banks will be shortened from a 2-hour bus detour to a 10-minute walk. A romantic bridge

Main span of 520 meters, with the two main piers numbered 13 and 14

Wang Qiang, deputy project manager of the Sichuan Road & Bridge Naxi Yangtze River Bridge project, introduced that the Naxi Yangtze River Bridge has a total length of 1.545 kilometers and a width of 30.5 meters. It starts at the intersection of Qixiang Road and Shugang Road in Naxi District and ends at Baita Village, Fangshan Town, Jiangyang District, on the north bank of the Yangtze River.

The main bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with two towers, two cable planes, and a hybrid composite girder, with four lanes in both directions and a design speed of 60 km/h. The reporter saw that two pedestrian walkways have also been set up on both sides of the bridge to facilitate residents on the two banks walking across the river.

The Naxi Yangtze River Bridge connects the Naxi and Jiangyang districts of Luzhou and is an important transportation hub in Luzhou. Moreover, the bridge itself also has a very romantic quality.
