China Geotechnical Foundation Technology Innovation Intellectual Property Alliance

The China Geotechnical Foundation Technology Innovation Intellectual Property Alliance is a non-profit organization registered with the National Intellectual Property Administration (Registration No.: Guo Zhi Lian Bei 2016025). It was initiated in 2014 by Jianyan Geotechnical Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. (the Institute of Foundation Engineering of the China Academy of Building Research), and its members include enterprises and research institutions in the geotechnical engineering field that possess patented and proprietary technologies. The purpose of the Alliance is to build a platform for exchange and cooperation among its members and to promote joint R&D, complementary strengths, achievement transformation, and application and promotion of geotechnical engineering technologies. Its goal is to closely align with the national innovation-driven strategy, adhere to enterprises as the main body, be guided by market demand and problems, integrate industry-university-research-application resources across various fields, build an innovation work system for the R&D, evaluation, and promotion and application of innovative geotechnical engineering technologies, and achieve deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application. Its tasks are to collect innovation needs, seek innovation directions, organize the evaluation of innovation achievements, carry out innovative technology exchange activities, promote complementary strengths among Alliance members, and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.‍

Foundation College

The Foundation College is a pioneering institution dedicated to talent cultivation in China's building foundation field. It was initiated by the China Geotechnical Foundation Technology Innovation Intellectual Property Alliance and jointly founded by the Institute of Foundation Engineering of the China Academy of Building Research and Beijing Jinshan Foundation Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. The College represents a spirit of actively responding to national strategic needs, and it bears the mission of promoting the development of building foundation technology, protecting intellectual property, and facilitating industrial upgrading. As the achievement of a non-profit industrial alliance registered with the National Intellectual Property Administration, the Foundation College takes "great virtue and strong skills, professionalism and earnest practice, integrity and innovation, and the pursuit of excellence" as its founding purpose, cultivating high-quality talents capable of meeting the future development needs of the industry; it takes "cultivating talents, developing experts, serving the industry, and benefiting society" as its mission, and steadily advances toward the goal of cultivating industry leaders. The Foundation College closely integrates with industrial practice, promotes the integration of theory and practice, and incorporates the responsibility of "educating people for the Party and cultivating talents for the country" into every course and practical activity, cultivating and developing a new generation of leaders in the foundation industry.‍
