Recently, the Yuchai YCR405 rotary drilling rig participated in the construction of the second-line ship lock project of the Longtoushan Hydropower Station hub in Fengcheng City, Jiangxi Province. The project is located within Fengcheng City under the jurisdiction of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. Its main construction contents include the main structure of the second-line ship lock, the upstream and downstream approach channels, the water conveyance system, the ship lock management area, the cross-lock bridge and connecting roads, the ramp bridge, and the improvement works of the first-line ship lock. The second-line ship lock of the Longtoushan hub is mainly for power generation, shipping, and urban transportation. It is a large-scale hydropower station hub project that also integrates comprehensive functions such as flood control and irrigation, water supply, tourism, and aquaculture, and is a key node project in the Ganjiang waterway that connects the preceding and following sections. Once the ship lock is completed, it will further leverage the advantages of the Ganjiang waterway's direct trunk-to-branch navigation and river-sea combined transport, build a fast waterway channel for external material exchange in riverside areas, and promote the high-quality development of shipping in the hinterland.

The formation at the construction site of the Yuchai YCR405 rotary drilling rig is complex, including backfill soil, sand and gravel layers, and cobble layers. After drilling to 20 meters, it is mainly red sandstone. The construction pile diameter is 2.2 meters, and the hole depth is 46 meters. After several days of construction performance, the hole-forming quality of the Yuchai YCR405 rotary drilling rig has been recognized by the project department, and the customer also highly praised the equipment's high efficiency, stability, and safety.
