On the morning of November 9, the launch ceremony for the 2023 Hunan Province "119" Fire Safety Awareness Month was held at the Sunward Industrial City in Changsha. Zhang Yingchun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Governor; Chen Xianchun, Deputy Secretary-General of the Provincial Government; Yang Kun, Director of the Provincial Emergency Management Department; Yao Weihong, Second-Level Inspector of the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Tang Hongmei, Deputy Head of the Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps; Zou Tianrong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps; Wang Han, Member of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, Standing Member of the Hunan Provincial CPPCC, and Captain of the Hunan Celebrity Volunteer Fire Brigade; Peng Huasong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor; Fu Yixin, Head of the Changsha Fire and Rescue Detachment; and He Qinghua, Founder and Honorary Chairman of Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony.

At the launch ceremony, the Hengyang Lanyan Band performed the original song "Heat Wave," showcasing the sense of responsibility and dedication of fire and rescue personnel who brave danger and charge forward against the odds; the Changde Silk String Fire Safety Publicity Service Team used the art of quyi to spread knowledge of everyday fire prevention.

Zou Tianrong, Wang Han, and Peng Huasong each delivered speeches on advocating for public fire safety publicity, cooperating with fire safety work, and mastering fire safety knowledge. Subsequently, live feeds were connected to the diverse publicity activities being carried out in various cities and prefectures, and everyone also watched on the large screen the fire safety evacuation and rescue drills organized by the national comprehensive fire and rescue teams and Sunward employees.

Vice Governor Zhang Yingchun delivered a speech at the ceremony, in which she emphasized the responsibility of fire safety for all, promoted the concept of "prevention first, life paramount," and called on everyone to work together to contribute to fire safety and ensure social peace and stability. Then, amid the applause of the audience, she announced that the 2023 Hunan Province "119" Fire Safety Awareness Month was officially launched!

A fire and rescue equipment and apparatus exhibition was held concurrently, with dozens of types of fire vehicles and equipment on display, demonstrating Hunan Fire's exploration, innovation, and breakthroughs in hardware development. During the exhibition, He Qinghua introduced to Zhang Yingchun and her delegation the emergency rescue-related products independently developed by Sunward and Sunward Star Aviation, including forest fire trucks, emergency rescue robots, wind-water-electricity facility emergency repair tool kits, and tethered drone systems for high-rise building firefighting. Zhang Yingchun and the others showed great interest and said that Sunward's manufacturing and design concepts were worthy of recognition, and that these "Made by Sunward" products would surely shine in the field of emergency rescue.

It is reported that November 9 this year marks the 32nd National Fire Safety Day. Since 2017, November of each year has been designated as National Fire Safety Awareness Month, and this year's theme is "Prevention First, Life Paramount." The whole public must pay attention to fire safety, learn fire safety knowledge, participate in fire safety publicity and education, raise fire safety awareness, and enhance essential safety capabilities, so as to create a favorable fire safety environment for comprehensively building a modern socialist society.
