Since the beginning of this year, Fushun County of Zigong City has deeply advanced the water governance approach of "prioritizing water conservation, balancing space, systematic governance, and exerting efforts on both fronts," accelerating the promotion of water conservancy project construction. In the first three quarters, 13 major projects have been implemented, with a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan, playing an important role in promoting sustained improvement of people's livelihood, continuous optimization of the ecological environment, and continuous improvement of social expectations.

Levee construction is advancing in an orderly manner. Levee construction in Section F, Tashan Section, the Songdu to Dengguan Section, and the Dengguan to Fuyuan Chemical Plant Section of Fushun urban area is proceeding in an orderly manner. It is expected that by the end of this year, levee construction for Section F and Tashan Section will be completed, with a cumulative investment of more than 70 million yuan.

Water supply capacity has steadily improved. At the end of August this year, the Anhe Water Plant was completed and connected to the network for water supply, ensuring the drinking water safety of approximately 600,000 people across the county. The main plant construction of the Eastern Water Plant Project and the urban-rural water supply "integration" project has been completed, with about 86 kilometers of pipelines installed; five water supply network maintenance and repair projects have been carried out, and 18 kilometers of water supply pipelines have been newly built or reconstructed, effectively enhancing the county's water supply guarantee capacity.

Drainage and waterlogging prevention have reached a new level. The construction of the West Lake Confucian Temple area drainage and waterlogging prevention project, the Tieqian Creek ecological governance project, and the Water Resources Utilization Center project is being steadily advanced. It is expected that by the end of this year, the West Lake Confucian Temple area drainage and waterlogging prevention project will be completed; one new small-watershed weir expansion project has been built, and 6 kilometers of township sewage pipeline network extension and renovation have been carried out, actively addressing the problem of urban pipelines "with defects" and promoting the governance of hidden urban waterlogging hazards.

Resettlement supporting facilities have been further improved. A total of 11.49 million yuan from four batches of central and provincial funds has been integrated to steadily advance the construction of 45 resettlement follow-up support projects, including the Daishi water transmission pipeline, Pipa silkworm rearing house, Banqiao road, and electric drainage pumping station, continuously improving the infrastructure supporting facilities of resettlement villages, enhancing village-level collective economy and the income of resettled people, and supporting rural revitalization and development.
