Since the beginning of this year, Fushun County of Zigong City has deeply advanced the water governance approach of "prioritizing water conservation, balancing space, systematic governance, and exerting efforts on both fronts," accelerating the construction of water conservancy projects. In the first three quarters, 13 major projects have been implemented, with a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan, playing an important role in promoting sustained improvement of people's livelihoods, continuous optimization of the ecological environment, and a continuously improving social outlook.

Levee construction is advancing in an orderly manner. Levee construction is proceeding in an orderly fashion in Section F of the Fushun urban area, the Tashan section, the Songdu to Dengguan section, and the Dengguan to Fuyuan Chemical Plant section. It is expected that by the end of this year, levee construction for Section F and the Tashan section will be completed, with cumulative investment of more than 70 million yuan.

Water supply capacity is steadily improving. At the end of August this year, the Anhe Water Plant was completed and connected to the network for water supply, ensuring drinking water safety for approximately 600,000 people across the county. The main plant construction of the Eastern Water Plant project and the urban-rural water supply "integration" project has been completed, with about 86 kilometers of pipelines installed; five water supply network repair and maintenance projects have been carried out, and 18 kilometers of water supply pipelines have been newly built or reconstructed, effectively enhancing the county's water supply guarantee capacity.

Drainage and waterlogging prevention have reached a new level. The projects for drainage and waterlogging prevention in the West Lake Confucian Temple area, the ecological governance of Tieqian Creek, and the Water Resources Utilization Center are being steadily advanced. It is expected that by the end of this year, the drainage and waterlogging prevention project in the West Lake Confucian Temple area will be completed; one new small-watershed weir expansion project has been built, and 6 kilometers of township sewage pipeline network extension and renovation have been carried out, actively addressing the problem of urban pipelines "operating with defects" and promoting the governance of hidden urban waterlogging risks.

Resettlement support facilities are more complete. Integrating four batches of central and provincial funds totaling 11.49 million yuan, the county has steadily advanced 45 later-stage support projects for resettlers, including the Daishi water conveyance pipeline, the Pipa silkworm rearing house, the Banqiao road, and electric drainage and irrigation stations, continuously improving the infrastructure facilities of resettler villages, enhancing village-level collective economic strength and the incomes of resettled people, and supporting rural revitalization and development.
