On November 5, the shield tunneling machine "Quanxin" for the left line of the shield-driven section from Software Park Station to Industrial Park Station on Jinan Rail Transit Line 6, contracted by China Railway Shangtou as general contractor and constructed by the Urban Rail Branch of China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group, was successfully launched, marking that the section has officially entered the dual-line shield tunneling stage. It is reported that the "Quanxin" shield machine is Jinan's first dual-mode shield machine.

To ensure the smooth launch of "Quanxin", the general contracting department of China Railway Shangtou for Jinan Rail Transit Line 6, together with personnel from construction, design, supervision and other units, actively invited domestic experts and repeatedly studied and optimized the tunneling plan. The project department of the Urban Rail Branch of China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group for Jinan Rail Transit Line 6, as the construction unit, exercised strict control over technical disclosure, monitoring and measurement, construction risks and other aspects, reasonably optimized resource allocation, and at the same time adjusted the shield machine's attitude in a timely manner in strict accordance with standard operations, strengthening overall control of the site.

The tunnel of the section from Software Park Station to Industrial Park Station runs along Xinluo Avenue, and the entire section is a one-way slope with a total length of 597.125 m. The Ruan-Gong section connects two important stations, Software Park Station and Industrial Park Station, and radiates to important areas such as Jinan High-tech Zone Industrial Park, universities, the government affairs center and residential areas. After completion, it will be of great significance to promoting economic production capacity along the line.
