Conference Introduction

The 11th National Conference on Soil Dynamics will be held on December 9-11, 2023 in Hangzhou, renowned as "Paradise on Earth." The conference is hosted by the Soil Dynamics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, and supported by the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, the Geotechnical Mechanics Professional Committee of the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society, the Geotechnical Mechanics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, the Earthquake Engineering Professional Committee of the Seismological Society of China, the Engineering Investigation Branch of the Architectural Society of China, the Foundation Engineering Branch of the Architectural Society of China, and the Geotechnical Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Professional Committee of the Seismological Society of China. Zhejiang University of Technology is organizing this conference.

With the implementation of major national strategic projects such as the "Dual Carbon Strategy," the "Belt and Road" Initiative, and "Building a Maritime Power," civil engineering construction features large scale, high quantity, and complex environments. Soil dynamics and geotechnical earthquake engineering have become important yet highly challenging research fields in engineering construction. Issues such as safety evaluation of geotechnical engineering under dynamic loads including high-intensity earthquakes, high-speed transportation lines, and complex marine environments, as well as seismic disaster reduction, have posed new challenges to research on geotechnical seismic resistance and soil dynamics.‍

Paper Submission

Paper titles may be freely chosen according to the conference theme and topics. Papers should present the latest unpublished results. Authors must submit the full electronic file to the organizing committee (submission email attached below). Papers should be formatted according to the format requirements provided on the website of Chinese Journal of Geotechnical Engineering. Authors should log in to the official website of Chinese Journal of Geotechnical Engineering (http://www.cgejournal.com/), enter the "Download Center" to download the format template. Papers not conforming to the format may face the risk of rejection. Based on the research content and academic level of accepted papers, papers will be recommended for publication in domestic high-level journals such as Chinese Journal of Geotechnical Engineering, Journal of Vibration Engineering, and Journal of Vibration and Shock, in regular or supplementary issues. Page charges are borne by the authors.
