Recently, 33 shield machine operators from the Shenzhen region, from China Railway Construction Corporation, Power Construction Corporation of China, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, China Railway Group, China Communications Construction Company, and Shenzhen Municipal Engineering Corporation, gathered at CRCHI (China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corporation) and completed a 9-day specialized training program.
NO.1 Thorough Preparation, Clear Objectives

Based on customer needs, CRCHI subsequently carried out multiple surveys and "online + offline" meetings. Taking actual construction as the starting point, it investigated the real conditions at construction sites and determined that the training course schedule would be divided into 3 sections—"Equipment Management, Problem Solving, and Practical Operation"—comprising 18 courses in total, aimed at specifically improving the professional foundation of shield machine operators in the Shenzhen region as well as their on-site problem-solving capabilities.
NO.2 Professional Team, Generous Instruction
The training program featured more than ten professional instructors who taught with great dedication. From frontline R&D personnel to on-site construction experts to professors from professional institutions, the instructors' solid professional foundations, rich teaching content, and active classroom interaction earned high praise from the trainees.

NO.4 Rapid Growth, Full Harvest

During the 9 days of study, trainees completed daily review check-ins. In the end, all 33 trainees participated in the training and passed both the theoretical and practical exams, with an average theoretical exam score of 98 and an average practical exam score of 94.
The courses covered basic content such as shield construction management, strata and geology, and equipment, as well as construction issues such as segment damage, screw conveyor jamming, karst, and abnormal cutterhead wear, along with simulator operation and electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting simulation on real machines. Trainees reported that they gained a great deal.

For engineering projects such as railways, urban rail transit, and underground urban utility tunnels, the requirements for construction equipment operators are becoming increasingly high. While providing technologically advanced equipment of outstanding quality, CRCHI will also strive to provide customized, professional, authoritative, and innovative training services, cultivating high-quality talent for the industry and accelerating the advancement of premium engineering projects.
