This year, in accordance with the overall arrangements and deployment of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, and with the joint efforts of all districts and departments, all key engineering projects in Hohhot have progressed smoothly, and urban infrastructure has been continuously improved.

Road traffic. This year, Hohhot has continued to improve its elevated road network system. At present, the final works of elevated roads such as the Third Ring Road, the northern section of Bayan Road, the east-west extensions of Hailar Street, and the Yunzhong Road New Airport Link Line have all been completed and opened to traffic. Of the 53 newly built and continued roads, 32 have been opened to traffic, and the remaining 21 are expected to all open to traffic before the end of November. Drainage and waterlogging prevention and water pollution control. This year, 64 waterlogging-prone points have been renovated, significantly improving the hidden dangers of urban waterlogging. The construction of three sewage treatment plants has been advanced, among which the technical renovation of the Gongzhufu Sewage Treatment Plant has been completed, the Science and Technology City Sewage Treatment Plant is being advanced in an orderly manner, and the Lamaying Sewage Treatment Plant project has been launched.
