On October 26, the main structure of Phase I of the Kechuang Fangzhou (Sci-Tech Innovation Ark) project in Xixian New Area, Shaanxi Province, undertaken by China Railway 14th Bureau Group, was topped out, laying a solid foundation for completion and delivery next year.

The project is located in the Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor in Fengxi New City of Xixian New Area, a national-level new area, with a total construction area of 289,100 square meters. China Railway 14th Bureau Group undertook the construction of 12 individual buildings and ancillary garages, with a total construction area of 133,800 square meters. Upon completion, the project will provide more than 7,500 units of affordable rental housing for the Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor, a national-level project jointly built by Xi'an Jiaotong University and Xixian New Area, strongly supporting the construction of the main window of Qinchuangyuan.

During construction, the project proceeded from six aspects—lean planning, lean design, lean craftsmanship, lean quality, lean safety, and lean environment—to establish a standardized civilized construction site management system, vigorously promote the integrated development of prefabricated buildings, green buildings, and intelligent buildings, and comprehensively improve project management quality. The project established a standardized smart construction site management system that integrates six major modules—production, safety, technology, equipment, materials, and environment—and applies technologies such as the Internet Plus, big data, and cloud systems to construction, achieving intelligent and refined management of the site.

Since entering the site this year, the project has consistently been at the forefront in terms of engineering progress, quality, and safe and civilized construction. Among more than 20 construction units, it won the title of Second-Quarter Safety Production Model and gained unanimous recognition from the owner and all participating construction units.
