Recently, Shanghai Yuanyang successfully won the bid for the diaphragm wall works of the ES3 Station and EAP running tunnel section of the Macau LRT East Line North Section Design-Build Project.

The company attached great importance to the bidding work for this project and set up a dedicated bidding team. It actively communicated and exchanged with the tendering party, Macau Keqiang Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd., and took the initiative to understand the tendering party's construction requirements and service priorities. Based on the actual geological conditions of the construction area, it formulated a scientific, reasonable, complete and efficient construction plan. After Keqiang Foundation's comprehensive review of Shanghai Yuanyang, Shanghai Yuanyang successfully won the bid and will be fully responsible for the construction of the diaphragm wall works of the project.

The northern section of the Macau LRT East Line is 2.74 kilometers long and includes three stations and three running tunnel sections. The stations are ES4, ES5 and ES6, and the running tunnel sections are the ES4–ES5 section, the ES5–ES6 section, and the ES6–Macau LRT Taipa Line Pier Station section. The entire line is underground, and the running tunnel sections are double-tube single-track shield tunnels. The successful opening of this line will greatly ease the passenger clearance pressure at the Border Gate checkpoint, facilitate travel for residents and tourists, and effectively stimulate the vitality of cultural and tourism development in the area.

The establishment and completion of the Macau LRT East Line will further improve the transportation system of the Macau Special Administrative Region. Shanghai Yuanyang will go all out to complete the important construction task and support one of the Macau SAR's key livelihood projects for high-quality and sustainable development.
