On October 20, Shou Ziqi, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal CPPCC, and Chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce, and his delegation visited Sunward Intelligent Equipment.

Following the route of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Sunward, Shou Ziqi and his delegation visited Sunward's basic equipment debugging yard, excavator assembly workshop, and special equipment production workshop, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company's product R&D, production, and sales, and reviewed the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection of Sunward via video.

During the visit, Shou Ziqi paid particular attention to the company's export situation, core technology R&D, and product localization rate, and made detailed inquiries about the supporting supply of engines, hydraulic components, and other important parts. To date, Sunward has filed more than 1,900 patent applications and has successfully developed more than 200 high-end equipment products with independent intellectual property rights and core competitiveness, with product sales covering more than 90% of the countries along the Belt and Road. Sunward products have played an important role in the construction of many major international projects, including Singapore's municipal engineering, Cambodia's Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, Bangladesh's Padma Railway, Colombia's Bogota Metro, and Nigeria's Lagos Light Rail. Shou Ziqi highly praised Sunward's measures to firmly keep core technologies in its own hands and to closely follow the national pace of jointly building the Belt and Road.
