The Huangmaohai Sea Crossing is another mega project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with a total investment of approximately 13 billion yuan. The project is 31 kilometers long, starting from Pingsha Town, Gaolan Port, Zhuhai City, connecting with the Zhuhai Gaolan Port Expressway and the second phase of the Hegang Expressway. After entering the sea crossing section, it passes through the under-construction Gaolan Port Bridge, the Middle Approach Bridge, and the Huangmaohai Bridge into Taishan City, Jiangmen, and after reaching the opposite bank, connects to the Shishan Tunnel and Xiangshan Tunnel.
