These are the fruitful results achieved by Taizhou City in advancing the "Hundred-Day Sprint" for major agricultural and rural project construction. In order to implement the spirit of the city's on-site observation and promotion meeting for major agricultural and rural project construction, further innovate the mechanism for advancing major projects, and fully set off a boom in tackling major project construction, from mid-September to the end of December, Taizhou City is fully carrying out the "Hundred-Day Sprint" action for major agricultural and rural project construction.

This "Hundred-Day Sprint" action will focus on four key tasks: the planning and layout of major projects, the attraction and reservation of major projects, the construction progress of major projects, and the promotion services for major projects.

Taizhou City will base itself on the "14th Five-Year Plan" for agricultural and rural modernization development, closely focus on the goal of building a strong agricultural city, and accelerate the implementation of the three-year action plan for major agricultural and rural project construction (2023-2025) as well as the 2023 implementation plan. It will highlight the planning of a batch of characteristic and advantageous projects with obvious industrial features, prominent development advantages, and strong demonstration and driving capabilities, and focus on implementing a batch of "processing, new forms, high-tech" (deep processing of agricultural products, new forms of rural industries, and high-tech agriculture) demonstration and leading projects, creating project benchmarks that reflect Taizhou's characteristics and level. Anchored to the high-quality development direction of the "2+N" agricultural whole industry chain, and in combination with the resource endowments of various localities, it will adhere to adapting measures to local conditions and promoting by category, insist that projects revolve around industries and that projects are grasped based on industries, and, on the basis of promoting the upgrading of bulk grain and oil agricultural product processing, strive to build a batch of county-level advantageous and characteristic industries.

In accordance with the requirements of the province's "Golden Autumn Investment Promotion Hundred-Day Action" for major agricultural and rural projects, Taizhou City will promote effective results in golden autumn investment promotion and push for new breakthroughs in the attraction of major agricultural and rural projects. It will establish a normalized investment promotion working mechanism, strengthen the staffing of investment promotion forces, rely on carriers such as modern agricultural industrial parks and agricultural product processing concentration zones at all levels and of all types, and use exhibitions such as the 24th Jiangsu Agricultural International Cooperation Fair, the 20th China International Agricultural Trade Fair, and the first Taizhou Green and Healthy Agricultural Products (Shanghai) Exhibition and Sales Fair to comprehensively increase the attraction of major agricultural and rural projects, attract and land a batch of major projects with high technological content, high added value, and a high starting point for development, and continuously improve the level of modern agricultural development. It will establish and improve the reserve mechanism for major agricultural and rural projects, with each city (district) normally reserving no fewer than 10 projects and entering them into the reserve database of the provincial major agricultural and rural project system, implementing dynamic adjustment, and forming a virtuous cycle mechanism of "a batch completed and put into production, a batch started for construction, and a batch attracted and reserved."

It will accelerate the construction progress of major projects, implement the project linkage and contact system, establish task lists, problem lists, and responsibility lists for major projects, and ensure that the number of newly built projects and the completed investment amount of implemented projects maintain positive growth for the year. In accordance with the annual construction content and planned investment amount of the projects, it will implement reverse scheduling of construction periods and wall-chart operations, focus on breaking through a batch of major projects with lagging progress, ensure completion of the annual investment task, and strive to exceed it. It will accelerate the completion and commissioning of more projects within the year, and on the basis of ensuring the requirement that 70% of major agricultural and rural projects in the province be completed and put into production in the implementation level assessment, strive for more projects to advance quickly, be put into production early, and achieve results early. At the same time, it will plan in advance for the application of provincial-level demonstration projects, with each city (district) ensuring that at least 4 projects are selected as provincial-level demonstration projects.
