At present, the situations faced by underground engineering construction such as transportation engineering (railway and highway tunnels) and hydropower engineering (underground powerhouses, water conveyance tunnels) are becoming increasingly complex. Infrastructure projects are more concentrated in the Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, and Tibet regions, where foundations are relatively weak. Taking the Sichuan-Tibet Railway, which is being constructed in stages, as an example, its complex geological conditions are rare in the world. In recent years, major accidents during tunnel excavation have occurred frequently, and the necessity of implementing advanced geological forecasting for tunnels is self-evident.

Tunnel advanced geological forecasting refers to the comprehensive forecasting and analysis of geological conditions ahead of the tunnel excavation face during tunnel construction using means such as geology, geophysical prospecting, and monitoring, and the timely adoption of corresponding construction measures to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient tunnel construction. Among these methods, seismic exploration has characteristics such as large detection depth and rich detection information.

Therefore, Earth Products China has released a new seismic exploration product for tunnel advanced geological forecasting: TRT-V8000. This product features large forecasting depth, three-dimensional imaging, and high efficiency and convenience. This series of products has achieved many results and successful cases both domestically and internationally.
