On October 13, the Shandong Provincial Major Science and Technology Innovation Project "Key Technologies for Health Diagnosis and Intelligent Risk Prevention and Control of Rail Transit Engineering during the Operation Period," led by China Railway 14th Bureau Group, successfully passed the performance evaluation (acceptance) organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology.

Zhou Changjin, General Manager of China Railway 14th Bureau Group and project leader, participated in the project completion acceptance. The performance evaluation (acceptance) meeting was chaired by Zhang Zhidan, Deputy Director of the High-tech Division of the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology; Li Shuchen, Professor at China University of Mining and Technology (Xuzhou), served as head of the expert panel; and the heads of each sub-project and R&D backbone members of the project team attended.

At the performance evaluation meeting, the project team reported on the project's initiation background, research methods, research results, and use of funds. In accordance with the assessment objectives, the experts verified the materials, data, and vouchers, and raised questions on the completion of technical indicators and fund execution. Ultimately, the expert panel spoke highly of the project, unanimously agreeing that the project materials were complete and that the research results exceeded the expected tasks and indicators. The comprehensive performance evaluation was rated as excellent, and acceptance was approved.

On behalf of the project team, Zhou Changjin expressed gratitude to the experts and leaders for their guidance and support. He introduced the recent scientific research development of China Railway 14th Bureau Group and expressed the hope that this successful acceptance would serve as an opportunity to further motivate the company's scientific research work, standardize the management of scientific research projects, and continuously stimulate employees' enthusiasm for research. He also stated that the company should seize opportunities, accelerate the transformation of research results, put science and technology innovation leadership into practice, help Shandong convert old growth drivers into new ones, achieve the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and inject new vitality into Shandong's economic development.

"Key Technologies for Health Diagnosis and Intelligent Risk Prevention and Control of Rail Transit Engineering during the Operation Period" (Project No.: 2019JZZY020314) is a provincial major science and technology innovation project jointly undertaken and completed by China Railway 14th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., Wuhan University of Technology, China Academy of Safety Science and Technology, and China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd.

By studying key technologies such as satellite remote sensing, fiber optic sensing, geophysical exploration, big data analysis, and cloud computing, the project developed a GIS-based "one map" management platform for risks during the operation period of rail transit engineering, and built a "cloud-network-device integrated" system for structural health diagnosis and intelligent risk prevention and control during the operation period of rail transit engineering. It has been applied in projects such as the Jiluo Road Tunnel of the Yellow River in Jinan and the Nanjing Southern New Town, achieving good social, economic, and environmental benefits, and forming an "Internet + safety monitoring" chain of "intelligent sensing equipment manufacturing - big data computation and analysis," with significant transformation value and industrialization prospects.
