On the morning of October 12, the Yingkesong No. 2 Tunnel, a key node project of the G530 Yanghuli-Zhuangli Section Reconstruction Project (Yingkesong Avenue), successfully broke ground, marking a new phase in the project's construction and its full entry into an accelerated stage.

The tunnel has a total length of 934 meters, with complex geological conditions and a high proportion of Grade IV and V surrounding rock, posing significant construction difficulties and risks. Based on the tunnel-specific safety risk assessment and the special scheme for tunnel excavation and blasting, repeated on-site surveys were conducted. Following the principles of "strong support, weak blasting, early closure, frequent monitoring, and early ring formation," advanced geological forecasting, surrounding rock monitoring and measurement, and settlement deformation observation were carried out to assess the stability of the surrounding rock, providing scientific data support for safe tunnel entry.

The tunnel features complex terrain, with many interference factors, high construction difficulty, high safety risks, and difficult deformation control. In response to the tunnel's characteristics and the rainy season construction plan, all departments took proactive action and carried out work according to their divisions of responsibility, completing all preparations for tunnel entry in the shortest possible time.

At present, the entire G530 Yanghuli-Zhuangli Section Reconstruction Project has completed the project camp, site laboratory, temporary access roads, temporary stations, and other work. The project's node project, the No. 2 Tunnel, has officially started tunnel excavation, and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in September 2025. Next, the construction contractor will continue to increase investment in manpower and materials, add more working faces, and further accelerate construction progress to ensure the road is completed and opened as soon as possible!

Upon completion, the project will improve the external transportation network of Huangshan West Station and optimize the regional comprehensive transportation service level, which is of great significance for promoting all-for-one tourism in Huangshan District and facilitating high-quality economic and social development.
