Tides surging in Hangzhou, excitement without end

Experience the thrilling moments of the Asian Games in the same city!

The Hangzhou 19th Asian Games is already past the halfway point of its schedule. As Asia's highest-level comprehensive sporting event, this edition is the largest in Asian Games history, with the most events and the broadest coverage. The Asian Games fever is sweeping across all of Hangzhou. On the current medal table, China ranks first in both gold medals and total medals, and holds a commanding lead.

At the opening ceremony on September 23, the first digital cauldron-lighting ceremony in Asian Games history was held, with more than 100 million "digital torchbearers" taking part in the torch relay. The main cauldron tower of the Asian Games has an innovative and complex structure; in its closed state it resembles a curling wave. Multiple Zoomlion cranes participated in its installation, helping to create a high-tech audiovisual feast.

The China Hangzhou E-sports Center, which hosts the esports events of the Hangzhou Asian Games, is China's first professional esports venue. More than 40 Little Green aerial work platforms assisted with the venue's interior and exterior decoration, accelerating construction of this project, whose appearance closely resembles a "starship."

Previously, Zoomlion engineering cranes, tower cranes, concrete pump trucks and other equipment also participated in the construction of several important Asian Games supporting transportation infrastructure projects, including the Hangzhou West Railway Station hub project, the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo reconstruction project, and the Asian Games Village athletes' village project, helping this edition of the Asian Games welcome guests from all directions.

Ride China's first cross-sea high-speed railway

Take a journey to see the sea by high-speed rail!

On September 28, China's first cross-sea high-speed railway—the 350 km/h Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway—officially opened for operation. It is a crucial piece of the puzzle in China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. Riding the high-speed rail all the way to see the sea while heading to Xiamen, Fuzhou, Quanzhou and other places, and enjoying the "one-hour living circle," is both pleasing to the eye and relaxed and fast.

Behind this romantic journey across mountains and seas, the Little Green Corps also contributed tremendous heavy-equipment strength, assisting in the construction of several important controlling node projects.

Bless the motherland and present a gift for its birthday

Feel the surge of excitement at Tiananmen Square!

During the National Day holiday, watching the flag-raising and enjoying the flower display at Tiananmen Square is a kind of "sense of ceremony" and also a romantic experience unique to the Chinese people. This year marks the 74th anniversary of the founding of New China. On September 25, the giant "Bless the Motherland" flower basket was unveiled at Tiananmen Square. This year's square flower basket also incorporated for the first time the five grains symbolizing a bumper harvest, expressing flourishing flowers and an abundant harvest of all grains.

The steel structure of the Tiananmen giant flower-and-fruit basket totals 245 tons, and the flower-arranged basket tray weighs about 60 tons. The greatest difficulty in hoisting lay in perfectly joining the basket tray with the basket body. Zoomlion cranes completed the installation task with the highest standards, the strictest requirements and the best condition, expressing blessings with heavy equipment and presenting a gift for the motherland's birthday.
