The Weiyuanmen Road South Extension Road Construction Project in Luzhou District is a key livelihood project for Changzhi City to ease traffic congestion, ensure smooth flow, and expand development space. Since the project started construction, the construction unit has been racing against time to seize the construction period, striving for excellence, focusing on quality and ensuring safety, so as to ensure the rapid progress of the project. It is reported that the road is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of this year.

The Weiyuanmen Road South Extension Road Construction Project has a total length of 1,364 meters, starting from Wuzhen Street in the south and ending at Jiefang West Street in the north. The key focus of the project is the implementation of two river-crossing bridges: the Moat Bridge and the Heishui River Small Bridge. The construction unit has planned ahead, managed scientifically, and made every effort to advance the work.

While bridge deck construction is being carried out in an orderly manner, pedestrian walkways and green belts are also being built simultaneously, and all of them adopt "sponge" design. Rain gardens can collect and infiltrate rainwater during rainfall, and while ensuring smooth passage for the public, they also provide slip resistance.

After the entire project is completed, it will connect Jiefang West Street and Wuzhen Street, effectively improving the city's internal traffic circulation.
