In the early hours of September 15,Tianjin Municipalitythe longest under-construction water bridge, the Duliujian River Grand Bridge, achieved full-span closure.

The Duliujian River Grand Bridge is 1,103 meters long, runs parallel to the existing Tuanbo New Bridge, and consists of three units of cantilever-cast girders. Because it crosses multiple important pipelines, passes through the Tuanbo Bird Nature Reserve pilot area and the Duliujian River flood channel, construction organization and coordination are highly difficult and construction risks are high; it is a key controlling node and the greatest risk point of the first-phase project of the Tianjin-Jinghai suburban railway. At present, the bridge has achieved smooth full-span closure with an error of less than 8 millimeters, truly realizing "millimeter-level control" of full-bridge precision and laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of subsequent girder erection, track laying, equipment installation and other works.

As Tianjin's first suburban railway project, the first-phase project of the Tianjin-Jinghai suburban railway has a total length of about 13.4 kilometers and is an important line connecting the core area of Tianjin with the Jinghai urban area. As of now, the station structures and bridge substructures of the first-phase project of the Tianjin-Jinghai suburban railway are 100% complete, bridge superstructures are 99% complete, the rolling stock specialty has completed in-plant debugging of the 8th train, and the power supply specialty has completed installation of the main transformer at the main substation.
