Recently, the Nanjing Ming Palace project, in which Shanghai Yuanyang participated, was successfully completed. Shanghai Yuanyang was responsible for the construction of the underground diaphragm wall of the north foundation pit retaining structure of the station, and delivered a quality project to the client 50 days ahead of the scheduled milestone.

Since the north foundation pit of Ming Palace Station is the final phase of the station's construction, its completion progress directly affects the opening time of Nanjing Metro Line 6. At the beginning of the project, the client discussed with Shanghai Yuanyang, hoping to improve construction efficiency while ensuring project quality and to complete the project as early as possible.
After receiving the client's request, Shanghai Yuanyang immediately held a special meeting for the project. After considering the deployment of large construction equipment such as the imported German Bauer MC64 trench cutter and the domestic SG60 trench cutter as strong drivers for the project's production, the company re-formulated a more scientific and efficient construction plan. The construction site of this project is narrow, only 74 m long and 26 m wide, while the trench cutter, trench-forming machine, rotary drilling rig and other equipment required for the project are all large equipment, which placed high demands on the project team's construction organization and process arrangement. Problems such as the limited construction period and insufficient construction space brought considerable difficulties to the construction. By rationally planning the equipment operation routes and efficiently coordinating the various work teams, the project team made steady progress under heavy pressure, ensuring the steady advancement of construction. While ensuring the safety and quality of the underground diaphragm wall construction, the team effectively improved construction efficiency and greatly shortened the construction period. Through the joint efforts of all project staff, the quality project was delivered to the client 50 days ahead of schedule.

The smooth completion of this project has won more ample time for the subsequent main structure construction and created better conditions for construction organization.
