Recently, the Fujian Provincial Department of Finance and the Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology issued the "Notice on Arranging Funding for the 2023 'Open Competition to Select the Best Candidates' Science and Technology Program Projects (Provincial Level)." The research project "Key Technologies for Synergistic Resource Utilization of Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Fly Ash, Sludge, and Anaerobic Digestate," for which the Institute of Urban Environment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was selected as the lead and Yongqiang Geotechnical participated, has been included in the 2023 Fujian Province "Open Competition to Select the Best Candidates" Major Special Project and has received project approval from the Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology.

This project was jointly applied for by the Institute of Urban Environment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yongqiang Geotechnical, Longyan Shuifa Environmental Development Co., Ltd., Fujian Jinhuang Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., and Fujian University of Technology. Targeting the common need for efficient resource utilization technologies for waste incineration fly ash, it develops synergistic hydrothermal treatment of fly ash with sludge/digestate, providing systematic solutions for synergistic resource utilization of fly ash and sludge/digestate nationwide.
