Recently, the Jieneng SF1103-127-1 residential plot project, constructed with the participation of Jintai CSM dual-wheel mixing equipment, has successfully installed more than 300 piles, and is expected to complete all 475 CSM piles by mid-September.

The Jieneng SF1103-127-1 residential project is located in Shibei District, Qingdao, north of Zhengzhou Road, south of Licun River, east of No. 4 Road, and west of No. 6 Road. According to drilling exploration, the site strata mainly consist of Holocene artificial fill and Holocene alluvial-proluvial deposits, with bedrock primarily composed of Late Yanshanian granite, etc. The site stratigraphy is simple with a clear sequence. From top to bottom, the geological layers are as follows: ① 0-3 m backfilled construction waste, ② 3-9 m water-rich coarse sand layer, ③ 9-11 m clay, ④ 11-14 m coarse sand, ⑤ 14-16 m argillaceous sandstone and strongly weathered rock.

The Jintai SC35\SC55\SC55B dual-wheel mixing drills are the main wall-forming equipment for this proposed site. The construction piles at this site are 14-16 m deep, with a trench width of 700 mm and length of 2,500 mm. Under working conditions, each machine can complete an average of 7-8 piles, and more than 300 piles have now been completed. It is understood that the construction site contains a large water-rich sand layer and is close to the sea, with strong groundwater permeability. There are large ponds on the site. After nearly 20 days of water-stop construction, the water level dropped significantly, and the water-stop effect was remarkable.

Shanghai Jintai has 12 years of application history since the first CSM equipment was introduced in 2011. In Shandong, Jintai CSM applications also have 9 years of accumulated experience. Jintai CSM dual-wheel mixing equipment went from being little known at the Boxing Reservoir in Shandong in 2015 to attracting widespread attention in 2017 when 11 dual-wheel mixing drills worked jointly at the Dongying Reservoir, and now to projects such as Qingdao Metro Wenfeng Road Station, Zhoucun Station, Jingdai Station, Qian Dongcheng Station, and China Overseas Group's Shibei District housing project. Across Shandong, Jintai CSM dual-wheel mixing equipment has been involved in a wide range of project categories, including civil and industrial construction, rail transit construction, soil pollution prevention and control, and water conservancy projects. The deepest actual application case reached 53.5 m, known as the "first depth in North China."

The Jintai CSM method is an innovative dual-wheel mixing drill that combines hydraulic trench cutter technology with deep mixing technology. Since its introduction, it has been fully verified and has accumulated construction experience in nearly 400 projects across more than 20 provinces and cities, including the Yangtze River Delta, the central and southern Yangtze River regions, the Pearl River Delta, Shandong, and Heilongjiang. As a result, three carrier platforms have been developed: rotary drilling rig type, electro-hydraulic crawler type, and electro-hydraulic crawler-mounted type, covering depths from 20 m to 65 m and capable of handling dense sand layers, large-particle cobble layers, and soft rock strata up to 10 MPa, forming a series of SC product clusters. In addition, because the CSM method can fully mill the original wall, it has stronger adaptability to irregular contours, is relatively environmentally friendly, and offers strong equipment stability and high construction efficiency, providing a strong guarantee for later foundation pit excavation.
