Project location: Xingji Apartment, Nanxing Town, Leizhou City, Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province
Participating project: Guangdong Water Resources Allocation Project in the Beibu Gulf Rim
Participating equipment: ZDG650
Recently, Zoomlion's ZDG650 hydraulic grab for underground diaphragm walls assisted in the full-scale commencement of the Guangdong Water Resources Allocation Project in the Beibu Gulf Rim in Guangdong Province, jointly advancing the construction of the water resources allocation project and laying a new pattern and adding new momentum for Guangdong's future development.
The Guangdong Water Resources Allocation Project in the Beibu Gulf Rim is a backbone project of the national water network and one of China's 150 major water conservancy projects. It is a major livelihood project planned and built by the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government with a view to the coordinated future development of the four cities in western Guangdong, and is the major water conservancy project in Guangdong to date with the largest water diversion flow, the longest water conveyance route, the most complex construction conditions, and the largest total investment. Once completed, the project will systematically solve the water use problem for the people of western Guangdong, greatly enhance the region's water supply capacity, and significantly improve the regional water ecological environment. It is of great significance for strengthening the comprehensive carrying capacity of the western wing of the coastal economic belt and accelerating the construction of the regional development pattern of "one core, one belt, one region."

According to reports, this project involves trenches of 800 mm and 1,000 mm diameter, with a trench depth of about 75 meters and a maximum depth of up to 80 meters. The construction depth makes it a rare high-difficulty project in the industry.
Zoomlion's ZDG650 hydraulic grab for underground diaphragm walls features "high precision and high efficiency," with an extra-large closing force and strong bucket cutting capability; increased bucket body weight with modular counterweights for convenient and diverse weight combinations; swing-type front and rear deviation correction that has little impact on the trench wall, high correction efficiency, and high trenching precision; and an optional ±180° bucket rotation function that solves the construction challenges of "+"-shaped and "L"-shaped trenches near buildings. For this project with high trenching depth and high difficulty, Zoomlion's ZDG650 hydraulic grab for underground diaphragm walls is clearly a good choice.

In recent years, various extreme weather events have occurred frequently, and the importance of preventing flood and drought disasters has been increasing day by day. Underground diaphragm wall equipment plays an important role in the construction of various water conservancy facilities. The customer stated that this field has huge room for development and that in the future they will work hand in hand with Zoomlion to win together and share the future!
With the advent of the China IV era, and supported by strong product strength and service guarantee capabilities, Zoomlion's G-series products are being delivered continuously across various regions. This project will not only accelerate sustainable development in the Guangdong region, but both parties will also build an even closer partnership. In the future, Zoomlion's foundation construction business will accelerate its digital, intelligent, and green development process, solidly advance green-led product development, and create greater value for customers!
