Introduction to the China Foundation Engineering Technology Innovation Intellectual Property Alliance

The China Foundation Engineering Technology Innovation Intellectual Property Alliance is a non-profit industry alliance registered with the National Intellectual Property Administration. It was initiated and established by Jianyan Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd., with Chairman Gao Wensheng serving as its chairman. Its members are enterprises, universities, and research institutions in the geotechnical engineering field that possess patented and proprietary technologies.

The purpose of the Alliance is to build a platform for exchange and cooperation among its members and to promote joint R&D, complementary strengths, achievement transformation, and application and dissemination of geotechnical engineering technologies. Its goal is to closely follow the national innovation-driven strategy, adhere to the principle of enterprises as the main body, be guided by market demand and practical problems, integrate industry-university-research-application resources across various fields, and build an innovation work system for the R&D, evaluation, and dissemination and application of innovative geotechnical engineering technologies, thereby achieving deep integration of industry, universities, research, and application. Its tasks are to solicit innovation needs, identify innovation directions, organize the evaluation of innovation achievements, carry out innovative technology exchange activities, promote complementary strengths among members, and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. The eight main work items it carries out are:

1. Solicit patented and proprietary geotechnical engineering technologies nationwide, compile them, form a catalog of innovative technologies, and regularly release it to members;

2. Organize experts to help members solve key technical problems and provide consultation and services on technical issues within the industry;

3. Solicit innovation needs, integrate innovation resources, and promote joint innovation among members;

4. Organize evaluations of innovation achievements and assist member units in drafting standards, applying for construction methods, and organizing award evaluations;

5. Publicize and promote the innovation achievements of member units and foster strong alliances among members;

6. Organize technical exchange activities and organize on-site observation and inspection of actual projects;

7. Provide technical training services for member units;

8. Collect project needs and promptly provide information to member units.

The Alliance's administrative body is the Secretariat.
