According to statistics: in July 2023, there were approximately 519 winning bids for urban rail transit projects/sections nationwide, with a total contract value exceeding 33.518 billion yuan. The distribution of contract values by province is shown in the figure below:

As seen in the figure above, urban rail transit projects were awarded in 26 provinces in July 2023, and the top three provinces by contract value were Chongqing, Zhejiang, and Shanghai.

Among the urban rail transit projects in July, a total of 44 projects/sections exceeded 100 million yuan. Among central state-owned enterprises, China Railway and China Railway Construction ranked first and second respectively.
