Recently, the "super foundation pit" under construction at the T3 rail transit hub of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport officially began base sealing. The area of this foundation pit is equivalent to about 20 standard football fields. Once completed, it will become China's first "two high-speed railways, two intercity railways" transportation hub project.

With two concrete pumps pouring continuously for 48 hours, the T3 rail transit hub of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport recently officially completed the pouring of the first base slab, marking that the project has entered the main structure construction stage. The first base slab of the foundation pit completed this time had a one-time pouring area of about 690 square meters and a poured concrete volume of about 2,670 cubic meters.

According to reports, after the entire project is completed, this location will become an important station for air-rail intermodal transport at Baiyun Airport, enabling all-weather, integrated transfer and connectivity between Baiyun Airport and Guangzhou's central urban area, the Pearl River Delta city cluster, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It will effectively enhance Guangzhou's capacity as an international comprehensive transportation hub and further promote the interconnection of transportation infrastructure in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
