Zheng Jianguo

Ph.D. in Engineering, Professor-level Senior Engineer, currently Chief Engineer of Machinery Industry Survey and Design Research Institute Co., Ltd. He has been awarded honorary titles including National Engineering Survey and Design Master, national candidate of the Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project, and national-level young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions, and enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council. His main research directions are loess engineering and engineering testing technology. He has published more than 120 papers, published 17 monographs and edited works, and served as chief editor or participating editor of more than 20 national, industry and local standards. His achievements have won 3 National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Silver Awards, 1 Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and 7 First Prizes of provincial and ministerial-level Science and Technology Progress Awards.‍

Taking the loess high fill project in Yan'an New Area as an example, this paper introduces the specific ideas and methods for solving problems in loess high fill engineering through whole-process control of original site investigation, design, construction, testing, monitoring, etc., and the effective combination of various technical means, as well as practical experience in geotechnical investigation, foundation and foundation design, building structural measures, and other aspects of construction projects after site formation. It introduces the core content of the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization standard "Technical Specification for Loess High Fill Site and Foundation" compiled based on the experience and scientific research results of loess high fill engineering.
