Project Introduction

This project is currently the largest cross-section inland river immersed tube tunnel in China and the largest single project in the Shunde area of Foshan. As an important north-south traffic artery in Foshan's 'ten vertical and twelve horizontal' expressway network, it undertakes both regional transit and external traffic, as well as inter-group and along-line travel traffic volume.

According to reports, the Lungui Road axis dry dock prefabricates 4 immersed tube sections. The south bank water-facing side of the dry dock and the north bank docking end buried section adopt a composite system of underground diaphragm wall revetment structure + locking steel pipe piles + plastic concrete cutoff wall. The revetment project has a total of 216 diaphragm wall panels, with depths ranging from 22m to 41.5m. The surface layer is soil, and at around 21-25 meters, mudstone with about 40 MPa begins to appear.

The smooth commencement of the first diaphragm wall panel marks the project's entry into the substantive construction stage. It is of great significance for promoting regional economic development along the line, advancing the integration of Sanlongwan transportation, and accelerating the deep integration of Guangzhou and Foshan.‍

They adopt a fully electric control system, offering a higher degree of intelligence and better comfort; precise control, using advanced CAN BUS technology and virtual instrument system, combined with feature-rich sensors, to achieve precise control of milling, pumping, and feeding; the mud pipe, hydraulic pipe, and cable follow-up system are fully automatic, with tension and depth adaptive control, tracking the milling device in real time; the milling wheels are driven by variable motors + reducers, with a wide range of torque and speed adjustment, adapting to different strata needs; they adopt a pump-suction reverse circulation slag discharge system, with large-diameter centrifugal slag discharge pumps, achieving efficient slag discharge in different strata and different trench depths.
