Report Title
Research on Bearing Characteristics and Engineering Application of High-Frequency Resonance-Free Steel Pipe Piles
Report Content
The high-frequency resonance-free steel pipe pile is a pile-driving technique based on the vibratory method, featuring high construction efficiency, strong pile-driving capacity and low environmental impact. It can adapt to the new trends and challenges of urban engineering construction, including building industrialization, green and low-carbon development, and the increasing complexity and sensitivity of urban environments. This report first introduces the pile-soil response during the penetration process of high-frequency resonance-free steel pipe piles, mainly including soil vibration, soil pore pressure, pile-soil interface pore pressure and soil deformation. It then presents field test research results on the bearing characteristics of this technique from the aspects of soil plugging effect, vertical ultimate bearing capacity and methods for improving bearing capacity. Finally, it introduces some engineering application cases of this technique in the Shanghai region.
