In October 2022, the Yutong YTR506HE extended-range electric rotary drilling rig began drilling construction in Sichuan, supporting the construction of the Yanjiang Expressway by Shudao Group. This marked a milestone step by Shudao Group on the road to green construction and opened a new era of green and low-carbon construction.
In May 2023, by the Jinsha River and atop western Sichuan, the Yutong YTR456HE electric rotary drilling rig successfully began drilling at the Lawa Hydropower Station in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan, with a pile diameter of 1.6 meters and a pile depth of 38 meters. In grid-connected mode, its operating energy consumption was 88% lower than that of fuel rotary drilling rigs of the same class at the same site, while efficiency increased by more than 10%.

In May 2023, the Yutong YTR456HE extended-range electric rotary drilling rig was once again delivered to Sichuan, supporting the green and low-carbon construction of the Chengdu-Nanchong Expressway expansion project, with a pile diameter of 1.8 meters and a pile depth of 28 meters. The pile formation time was 1 hour and 40 minutes, and a single pile required only 160 kWh of electricity.

Electric rotary drilling rigs directly extract giant rock cores

In the Section 3 project of the Shandong Yanpeng Expressway, involving 120 MPa granite, with a pile diameter of 1.8 meters and a pile depth of 19 meters, the Yutong YTR456HE extended-range electric rotary drilling rig extracted a complete "little giant" rock core.

In the Shenzhen Metro Line 8 project in Guangdong, involving 110 MPa slightly weathered rock strata and 70 MPa moderately weathered rock strata, with high hardness and difficult hole opening, the Yutong YTR456HE extended-range electric rotary drilling rig easily drilled cast-in-place piles with a pile depth of 23 meters and a pile diameter of 1.5 meters, helping the Shenzhen Metro project rise rapidly!

Working day and night, 23 hours a day

In October 2022, 6 Yutong electric rotary drilling rigs won the procurement project of Shandong Hi-Speed Road and Bridge Group Co., Ltd. According to feedback from the project manager: Yutong electric rotary drilling rigs averaged 18 hours of work per day, with a maximum of 23 hours in a single day. Compared with fuel rotary drilling rigs at the same site, single-pile efficiency increased by 0.5 hours and energy consumption was reduced by 66%. The equipment performance was remarkable and highly productive!
