Bidding Announcement for Unit Price Contracting of Station Building and Related Works in Gansu-Qinghai Section of the Newly Built Xining-Chengdu Railway

IV. Project Overview:

Construction location: Gansu Province and Qinghai Province.

Construction scale: The Xining-Huangshengguan section (Gansu-Qinghai section) of the newly built Xining-Chengdu Railway has a main line length of 329.9 km. It is a Class I double-track railway, with a bridge-tunnel ratio of 90.8% on the main line. The main line bridges total 59.808 km/92 bridges; the main line tunnels total 236.44 km/51 tunnels (including the 22.38 km Gansu-Qinghai Tunnel, which started construction earlier). The scope includes related works for the connection into the Xining area. Eight station buildings will be newly built in the Gansu-Qinghai section, namely Langmusi (3,999 m²), Luqu (4,000 m²), Hezuo (7,998 m²), Xiahe (3,972 m²), Ganjia (1,998 m²), Tongren (7,992 m²), Jianzha (4,999 m²), and Hualong (4,000 m²).

V. Section Division:

This construction tender is divided into 2 sections. Section numbers: XCZF1 (station building works within Gansu Province) and XCZF2 (station building works within Qinghai Province).

VI. Planned Construction Period:

XCZF1 Section: total construction period of 2,003 calendar days; planned commencement date May 1, 2024; planned completion date October 25, 2029. Among them:

(1) Tangga'ang-Hezuo section (Hezuo Station building): starts May 1, 2024, and is completed December 15, 2027.

(2) Hezuo-Langmusi section (Luqu Station and Langmusi Station buildings): starts May 1, 2024, and is completed October 25, 2028.

(3) Haidongxi-Tangga'ang section (Xiahe Station and Ganjia Station buildings): starts July 1, 2025, and is completed October 25, 2029.

XCZF2 Section: total construction period of 1,577 calendar days; planned commencement date July 1, 2025; planned completion date October 25, 2029.

Haidongxi-Tangga'ang section (Tongren Station, Jianzha Station, and Hualong Station buildings): starts July 1, 2025, and is completed October 25, 2029.

VII. Obtaining of Bidding Documents:

All prospective bidders are requested to log in to the Gansu Provincial Public Resources Trading Network (http://ggzyjy.gansu.gov.cn) from 00:00:00 on July 1, 2023 to 00:00:00 on July 6, 2023 (Beijing time, the same below) to download the electronic prequalification documents free of charge.
