On July 1, the Party Committee of XCMG Group and the Party Committee of XCMG Machinery grandly held a conference to celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to summarize and commend outstanding achievements. More than 300 people, including the leadership teams of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, members of the leadership of all units, commended advanced representatives, service-year medal representatives, and Party member representatives, gathered together to review the Party's glorious journey and draw tremendous strength for forging ahead. The conference opened with the majestic national anthem of the People's Republic of China.

Over the past year, the Party Committee of XCMG Group has united and led Party organizations at all levels and all Party members and cadres to rise to challenges, strive courageously, and advance against the odds. The company has ranked among the global top three in the construction machinery industry for three consecutive years and has held the No. 1 position in the domestic industry for 34 consecutive years.

Zhen Wenqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union of XCMG Group, delivered the Party Committee work report titled "Hold High the Banner, Gather Strength, and Shoulder Responsibility: Leading the Company's Connotative High-Quality Development with Strong Party Leadership."

They bravely shoulder heavy responsibilities and charge to the forefront, dare to fight tough battles and are capable of winning them, writing loyalty, dedication, and responsibility with their passionate devotion; they "can be recognized in ordinary times, stand out at critical moments, and step forward in times of danger," striving to write an even more splendid new chapter for the new XCMG in the new era!

Wang Fei, representative of outstanding Communist Party members; Guo Gongxiang, representative of outstanding Party affairs workers; Li Zhongfu, representative of an outstanding "Party Building+" project; Wei Lei, representative of a Party member vanguard team; and Wang Xia, representative of an advanced grassroots Party organization, respectively shared moving stories of taking responsibility, working hard, and daring to innovate.

"I volunteer to join the Communist Party of China, uphold the Party's program, abide by the Party's Constitution, and fulfill the duties of a Party member..." Facing the bright red Party flag, 16 new Party member representatives and all attending Party members reviewed the oath of joining the Party, their sonorous and powerful voices resounding throughout the venue.

In the 80-year journey of struggle, generation after generation of XCMG people have been loyal to XCMG, taken root in XCMG, and devoted themselves to XCMG. They are witnesses, creators, and strivers of the times, and XCMG always remembers every XCMG person who has quietly strived for the cause of reaching the summit of Mount Everest. Since the implementation of the service-year medal system in 2016, a total of 19,806 person-times have received XCMG service-year commemorative medals.

Yang Dongsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, presented service-year commemorative medals to representatives from all fronts.

In accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Party Committee that "the second batch of participating units should follow up in studying, reforming, and taking action" and the deployment of the Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee's "Three Firsts and Three Strengthenings" action for thematic education, Yang Dongsheng delivered a special Party lecture titled "Keep the Entrustment in Mind and Shoulder the Mission, Forge Ahead with Gratitude to Open New Horizons, and Write a New Chapter in Building a World-Class Enterprise and Scaling the Global Industrial Everest" to all Party members and cadres. He led the broad masses of Party members and cadres in comprehensively studying and understanding Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, creating a strong atmosphere of studying first and acting first in thematic education, and continuously gathering strong momentum for "building a world-class enterprise and scaling the global industrial Everest."

Yang Dongsheng led the attending Party members and cadres in affectionately reviewing the history of the Party and pointed out that

the Communist Party of China is the largest party in the world, the strongest party in the world, the choice of the people, and the choice of history. The 102-year history of the Party is a history of the ideological tempering of Communists, a history of responsibility and dedication, and a history of patriotic struggle.

From its development in 1943 to today, and in its future goal of building itself into a world-class enterprise, the most fundamental thing for XCMG is to always uphold Party leadership and strengthen Party building. This is the glorious tradition of state-owned enterprises, their "root" and "soul," and their unique political advantage. Only when Party leadership is strong and powerful and Party building has more contemporary characteristics can enterprise reform have direction, development have strength, and stability have guarantees.

Yang Dongsheng emphasized that

XCMG must always remain true to its original aspiration, keep its mission firmly in mind, and forge ahead, solidly advancing XCMG's new practice of Chinese-style modernization; it must always keep the entrustment in mind, forge ahead with gratitude, and walk in the forefront, striving to deliver a new answer sheet for high-quality development on the new journey; and it must always hold high the banner, work hard with solid action, and strive to be first, comprehensively and strictly strengthening Party leadership and Party building.

Yang Dongsheng encouraged all Party members and cadres that

at all times, they must firm up confidence, at all times maintain a clear head, and persist in doing their own work well. On the road ahead, they must carry one blueprint through to the end, work solidly and pragmatically, anchor on the goals and tasks set by the annual economic work conference, implement them with a nail-driving spirit, and resolutely implement the business development policy of "high quality, risk control, world-class, and steady growth." They must promote deepening reform with stronger measures, implement intelligent transformation and digital transformation with greater intensity, enhance global operating capability faster, better coordinate effective improvement in quality and reasonable growth in quantity, establish a connotative high-quality development model, and unswervingly climb toward the summit of manufacturing.

For XCMG Party members and cadres in the new era, Yang Dongsheng put forward six requirements:

First, strengthen theoretical arming and firm up ideals and convictions; second, uphold the political stance and be absolutely loyal to the Party; third, carry forward the spirit of struggle and dare to take responsibility and act; fourth, consciously step into the fray and know, fulfill, and take responsibility; fifth, focus on going to the front line and solving practical problems; and sixth, be brave in self-revolution and maintain integrity and honesty.

The conference concluded victoriously with the singing of "The Internationale."

The new era sets sail on a new journey, and a new mission calls for new actions. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of XCMG. All XCMG Party members and cadres will unswervingly listen to the Party, follow the Party, keep the entrustment in mind, forge ahead with gratitude, and walk in the forefront. They will continuously strengthen the equipment manufacturing industry, build a modern industrial system, expand the real economy, build a world-class brand, solidly advance XCMG's new practice of Chinese-style modernization, and, with greater responsibility, a better mental outlook, and a more solid work style, turn the strategic blueprint of the "two-step" march to the Everest summit from a "freehand brushwork" into a "meticulous painting" step by step, making new and greater contributions to building a strong country and national rejuvenation!
