On June 27, the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Shandong Provincial Energy Administration issued a notice on the distribution of the "14th Five-Year Plan" Development Plan for the Integrated Wind-Solar-Storage-Transmission Base on Saline-Alkali Tidal Flats in Northern Shandong.

The document shows that through competitive selection, 35 projects with a total capacity of 18.88 million kilowatts have been confirmed for inclusion in the "14th Five-Year Plan" development plan for the Northern Shandong Base. Among them, Binzhou City has 14 development projects with a total scale of 8.6 million kilowatts (6.2 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation and 2.4 million kilowatts of wind power); Dongying City has 8 development projects with a total scale of 4.2 million kilowatts, all of which are photovoltaic power generation; Weifang City has 13 development projects with a total scale of 6.08 million kilowatts (5.65 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation and 430,000 kilowatts of wind power). The above projects are included in the list of guaranteed grid-connection projects in our province, and in principle, all are to commence construction by the end of 2025 and be completed and connected to the grid by the end of 2027. According to data compilation, CHN Energy, State Power Investment Corporation, China Huaneng Group, and Shandong Energy Group rank in the top four with 3.74GW, 3.58GW, 2.15GW, and 2.15GW respectively, while the other six enterprises including China National Nuclear Corporation, Shandong Development Investment Group, and China Energy Engineering Group also secured project allocations.
