On the morning of June 28, Zoomlion held a new product launch event themed "Green Leadership, Technology-Driven Electric Drive" for its ZR240HE extended-range rotary drilling rig at the Shanghai Songjiang Industrial Park, and delivered the product to customers on site. The ZR240HE extended-range rotary drilling rig is another innovative achievement of Zoomlion in the frontier fields of digitalization, intelligence, and green development. Its launch and delivery demonstrate the company's surging innovation vitality, strong technical R&D strength, and extremely high market recognition.

According to the introduction, as Zoomlion's newly developed electric-drive rotary drilling rig, the ZR240HE extended-range rotary drilling rig has achieved industry-leading performance in many aspects, including multi-motor winch drive control technology, full-process floating control technology for electric-drive winches, high-efficiency motor utilization control technology, and multi-motor pump drive control technology. At the same time, as an electric-drive product, the ZR240HE extended-range rotary drilling rig not only matches fuel-powered machines in soil-slinging capability during operation, but also overcomes technical challenges such as coordinated start/braking, closed-loop anti-slip protection for the drill rod, and full-process floating, providing stronger stability and reliability than hydraulic drive.

In addition, unlike ordinary electric-drive products, the ZR240HE extended-range rotary drilling rig can not only achieve pure electric operation and plug-in operation, but also use the onboard generator to generate electricity from fuel, providing longer-lasting and more flexible power support for construction. In plug-in mode, the ZR240HE can reduce energy consumption costs by 70%, and in extended-range mode it can also reduce energy consumption costs by 30%. It can be said that a series of advantages will make the ZR240HE a "low-carbon rising star" in the engineering field.

Di Pengyuan, Secretary-General of the Dual Carbon Working Committee of the China Construction Machinery Association, stated that the launch of the ZR240HE extended-range rotary drilling rig will further promote the use of electric-drive products in the industry, realize low-carbon intelligence, achieve new breakthroughs in the application of new energy technologies, and make new contributions to promoting the high-quality development of China's energy-saving and carbon-reduction engineering.
