On June 20, 2023, Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of the China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and Chairman of Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd., and Xie Yulai, Secretary-General of the Aftermarket Production and Sales Branch, visited the Fujian Provincial Civil Engineering and Construction Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the Fujian Civil Engineering Association) and the Quanzhou Construction Machinery Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the Quanzhou Association), and were warmly welcomed by Wang Jieshan, Secretary-General of the Fujian Civil Engineering Association, and Wu Jihua, President of the Quanzhou Association, and Lü Huayuan, Secretary-General.

Wu Peiguo first thanked the Fujian Civil Engineering Association and the Quanzhou Association for their warm reception, introduced the Association's situation and the current development situation of the industry, and exchanged views on the Association's business development, as well as the current business environment and operating conditions of member units. He also gave a key introduction to the preparations for BICES 2023 Beijing Construction Machinery Exhibition, to be held in Beijing on September 20-23, covering aspects such as exhibitors and exhibition area reaching new highs, digital, intelligent and green products being showcased in a concentrated manner, nearly one hundred high-level events, coverage by more than two hundred Chinese and foreign media, organization of professional visitors at home and abroad, and improvement of exhibition operations. He welcomed the Fujian Civil Engineering Association and the Quanzhou Association to organize member units to exhibit and visit during BICES 2023 in Beijing, and stated that the Association would make preparations in advance and provide good on-site reception services.

In exchanges with the Fujian Civil Engineering Association, Wu Peiguo said that the Fujian Civil Engineering Association, as a newly established user association oriented toward civil engineering construction in recent years, meets the current requirements of industry development, has achieved encouraging results through standardized development, and has played an important role in the field of civil engineering construction in Fujian. The Association welcomes the establishment of a long-term exchange mechanism with the Fujian Civil Engineering Association, so as to serve as a bridge between equipment manufacturing enterprises and user units.

Wang Jieshan expressed a warm welcome to Secretary-General Wu Peiguo and his delegation, and introduced the Fujian Civil Engineering Association, stating that the Association is currently composed voluntarily mainly of enterprises engaged in civil engineering construction activities in Fujian Province, as well as related enterprises, social organizations and relevant individuals in this industry. It currently has more than 600 members, maintains close ties with its members, and actively participates in various activities organized by the Association.

In exchanges with the Quanzhou Association, Wu Peiguo said that the Quanzhou Association, as an association in a local industrial cluster area of the construction machinery industry, is closely connected with local enterprises. At the same time, its member units are mainly small and medium-sized private enterprises whose main business is in the aftermarket, such as parts and components supply and maintenance services, and which directly face end users. They have always played an important role in the aftermarket segment of the industrial chain. However, with the continuous development and growth of the industry and the ongoing transformation of market operating models, especially with the rapid development of intelligence and green development in the industry, enterprises face the need for transformation and adjustment. He hoped to strengthen contacts going forward, carry out regular exchanges, serve member units well, and attend the National Construction Machinery Chamber of Commerce and Association Conference held concurrently with BICES 2023 for exchanges, working together for the high-quality development of the industry.

Wu Jihua and Lü Huayuan expressed a warm welcome to Secretary-General Wu Peiguo and his delegation, and introduced the Quanzhou Association, stating that its members currently cover the production of complete machines and parts for loaders, forklift loaders, excavators, road machinery, construction and building materials machinery, cranes and others. It currently has more than 300 member enterprises, including 30 national high-tech enterprises, 30 Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Little Giant enterprises, 40 Fujian Provincial science and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, and 20 Fujian Provincial specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative enterprises. Member enterprises have strongly promoted the development of Quanzhou's local construction machinery industry and made contributions to the rapid economic development of Quanzhou.

During the discussion, Wang Jieshan exchanged views on the development ideas and plans of the Fujian Civil Engineering Association, and Wu Jihua and Lü Huayuan on those of the Quanzhou Association. They all expressed the hope to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Association in the future, enrich the content of association services, improve service levels, and provide better services for member units. At the same time, they will promptly notify member units of information about BICES 2023, promote and organize member enterprises to visit BICES 2023, and conduct in-depth exchanges with more industry enterprises at the exhibition site.
