Recently, Su Zimeng, President of the China Construction Machinery Association, stated that orders in the domestic market for the construction machinery sector from January to May this year were generally below expectations. "Some construction machinery products in the domestic market are currently facing certain pressure, but the pressure will gradually ease in the later period, and in the long run the overall situation will show a stable and positive trend."

The press conference and exhibitor preparatory meeting for the 16th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Technical Exchange Conference was recently held in Beijing. At the meeting, Su Zimeng stated that since the beginning of this year, under the influence of many factors such as the continued decline in real estate and other industries, domestic sales of some products in the construction machinery sector have declined. From January to May this year, orders in the domestic market were generally below expectations, and great attention must be paid to new problems emerging in the industry's development.
"Despite the severe and complex international situation, leveraging the overall advantages of China's construction machinery technology, products and services, export value is expected to remain at a relatively high level in the future." Su Zimeng predicted that as policy effects come into play and the market environment steadily improves, pressure will gradually ease in the later period, and in the long run the construction machinery industry as a whole will show a stable and positive trend.
It is reported that the exhibition will be held from September 20 to 23 this year at the China International Exhibition Center (New Venue) in Beijing. Centered on the theme of "Digital Efficiency, Green Reliability," it will feature fifteen thematic exhibition areas, where a large number of high-end, intelligent and green construction machinery products and technologies will be showcased in a concentrated manner. Suppliers and service providers from some new fields will bring the latest service solutions for the first time, such as enterprises in certification, training, finance, leasing, aftermarket, and supporting services for autonomous driving; tower cranes, elevators and the like will also make their debut at the New China International Exhibition Center.
Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of the China Construction Machinery Association, introduced that as of now, the number of registered exhibitors has exceeded 1,000, with total exhibition area expected to exceed 150,000 square meters. The planned fifteen thematic exhibition areas have taken shape, nearly one hundred high-quality concurrent conferences and activities have basically been finalized, and the organization of domestic and international users and professional visitors has been fully launched. At that time, about two hundred domestic and international news media will conduct all-round, three-dimensional on-site reporting and publicity, and on-site operations and services for exhibitors and visitors will see seven major improvements.
He stated that the exhibition will give full play to five unique advantages—industry advantage, regional advantage, venue advantage, brand advantage and organizer advantage—and at this critical juncture of the transformation of old and new growth drivers in China's construction machinery industry, will bring exhibitors and users a grand industry event offering insight into the industry's future, promote high-quality development of the industry, and facilitate integrated development and cooperation between China and other countries.
