I. Project Overview

Hangzhou-Pudong Expressway Haiyan Link Line (Phase I): The main line of this project starts on the south side of Fengqiao Town, Nanhu District, Jiaxing City, where it connects with the Zhapu-Jiaxing-Suzhou Expressway via the Fengqiao Hub Interchange. The route runs south through Fengqiao Town in Nanhu District, and Shendang Town, Yucheng Town and Wuyuan Subdistrict in Haiyan County, then intersects with the Hangzhou-Pudong Expressway where the Wuyuan Hub Interchange is provided, ending on the north side of Yanyu Highway near Hongyi Village, Wuyuan Subdistrict, Haiyan County, and connecting southward to the Wuyuan Interchange Link Line. The main line is about 12.38 km long (about 3.8 km in Nanhu District and about 8.58 km in Haiyan County). The main line includes about 11,640 m of bridges (1 bridge, including main-line bridges in the hub and interchange areas); 2 hub interchanges (one of which also serves as a ground-level interchange) and 1 ordinary interchange; 2 ramp toll stations, 1 maintenance work area, 1 management sub-center, and necessary auxiliary management buildings and facilities. A Wuyuan Interchange Link Line of about 1.92 km will be built in parallel, including about 440 m of bridges (2 bridges). The estimated total investment of the project is 7,231.04 million yuan, with construction and installation costs of 4,164.59 million yuan. Technical standards: The main line adopts the two-way six-lane expressway standard in the Technical Standard for Highway Engineering (JTG B01-2014), with a design speed of 120 km/h and a subgrade width of 34.5 m; the Wuyuan Interchange Link Line adopts the two-way six-lane Class I highway standard, with a design speed of 80 km/h and a subgrade width of 32.0 m.

Scope of bidding:The construction bidding for this project is divided into 2 sections.

Section TJ01:Hangzhou-Pudong Expressway Haiyan Link Line (Phase I), from chainage K0+000 to K6+777, about 6.8 km long. The main construction content includes the completion of subgrade, pavement, bridges and culverts, crossing works and other works, defect repair during the defect liability period, and warranty responsibilities during the warranty period.

Section TJ02:Hangzhou-Pudong Expressway Haiyan Link Line (Phase I), from chainage K6+777 to K12+380, about 5.6 km long, and the Wuyuan Interchange Link Line, from chainage LK0+000 to LK1+916.698, about 1.92 km long. Among these, the 2-8×3.5 m box culvert (61 m/1 culvert) at the intersection of the Wuyuan Interchange Link Line and National Highway 525 has already been tendered separately and is not included in the scope of this bidding. The main construction content includes the completion of subgrade, pavement, bridges and culverts, crossing works and other works, defect repair during the defect liability period, and warranty responsibilities during the warranty period.

Hangzhou-Pudong Expressway Nanbeihu Interchange Reconstruction Project Civil Construction Section TJ01

I. Project Overview

Construction location:Haiyan County, Jiaxing City

The Hangzhou-Pudong Expressway Nanbeihu Interchange Reconstruction Project includes the in-situ reconstruction of the existing Nanbeihu Interchange on the Hangzhou-Pudong Expressway and the construction of a new interchange link line. The in-situ reconstruction superimposes a T-shaped interchange on the existing single-trumpet interchange to form a composite interchange. The main-line reconstruction is located on the existing Hangzhou-Pudong Expressway. The main line adopts the two-way six-lane expressway standard in the Technical Standard for Highway Engineering (JTG B01-2014), with a design speed of 120 km/h and a subgrade width of 35 m. The main-line reconstruction extends from chainage MK63+352.237 to MK64+955, about 1.61 km long, including 151 m/3 medium bridges and 252 m/1 large bridge for main-line widening. For the Nanbeihu Interchange reconstructed on the existing basis, four new ramps F, G, H and I will be built, all with a design speed of 60 km/h and a two-lane ramp subgrade width of 10.5 m; the existing ramps will be appropriately extended and reconstructed before connecting to the corresponding new ramps. The existing ramps have a design speed of 40 km/h; ramps B, C, D and E are one-way single-lane ramps with an existing subgrade width of 8.5 m, and the extended portions in this reconstruction will adopt 9.0 m according to the new standard; ramp A is a two-way two-lane ramp with a subgrade width of 16.5 m and will be directly utilized without reconstruction. The new ramps of the Nanbeihu Interchange total about 3.6 km, including 2,548.55 m/5 large bridges and 186.5 m/3 medium bridges. One new ramp toll station and necessary traffic management auxiliary buildings and facilities will be provided. The new interchange link line to be built in parallel adopts the Class I collector-distributor road standard in the Technical Standard for Highway Engineering (JTG B01-2014), with a design speed of 80 km/h, two-way six lanes, and a standard subgrade cross-section width of 32 m. The link line extends from chainage K0+500 to K4+700, running southeast and continuously crossing G525, the branch line of the Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo Railway maintenance station, the Guantang Line Class V waterway (planned quasi-Class III-b single-line waterway) and Lenggang Road (planned), then intersecting with Zhongxing Road (planned) and Wuyuan Highway respectively, with the endpoint at the intersection of this project and Wuyuan Highway. The link line is 4.2 km long in total.

The estimated total investment of this project is about 1.495 billion yuan, and the estimated construction and installation cost is about 996 million yuan.
