Recently, Taiheng Foundation's low-headroom KR300ES participated in the construction of the underpass tunnel project of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-Speed Railway. Construction site

The project is adjacent to the high-speed railway line, requiring construction equipment with a height not exceeding 12 meters, a pile diameter of 1000 mm, and a hole depth of 23-33.5 m. The on-site construction strata mainly consist of backfill, silty sand, silty clay, and moderately weathered red sandstone. The strength of the red sandstone reaches 50 MPa, requiring the equipment to have strong power and rock-drilling capability. There is a risk of hole collapse during construction; once a hole collapses, it will cause ground settlement and affect the high-speed railway, making construction extremely difficult. Taiheng Foundation's professional construction team provided countermeasures based on the site conditions, coordinating with full-slewing equipment to install a 9-meter casing, and using Taiheng Foundation's 11-meter low-headroom rotary drilling rig KR300ES to drill and extract soil, relying on its strong rock-drilling capability to cut through the hardest moderately weathered red sandstone.
