Recently, in Yibin, Sichuan, ten Zoomlion rotary drilling rigs worked together to build the high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cell project of Heguang Tongcheng Photovoltaic Technology (Yibin) Co., Ltd. According to reports, the project for an intelligent production line with an annual output of 5GW of high-efficiency solar cells is located in Gaojie Park, Gaochang Town, Xuzhou District, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. The project covers a land area of 600 mu and has a construction scale of 266,000 square meters. It mainly includes production plants, power stations, sewage stations, office buildings, air separation stations, auxiliary buildings, supporting facilities, etc., and also involves the purchase of intelligent manufacturing equipment (facilities) for high-efficiency crystalline silicon cells. After completion, the project will form an intelligent manufacturing factory with an annual output of 16GW of high-efficiency crystalline silicon cells.

It is understood that the site mainly uses 500 mm pipe piles, with hole depths of 12 m to 22 m. Rotary drilling rigs and diesel hammer equipment are used together for pilot hole drilling, with a total volume of about 300,000 meters, and completion is expected in two months.

In the project, ten Zoomlion rotary drilling rigs carried out coordinated construction. Among them, two ZR160L-II, one ZR180G and one ZR240G are all G-series small models suitable for soil layers, and each machine can drill 150 m to 200 m of deep piles per day on average. As a construction tool that handles both soft and hard conditions, the ZR240G uses the fourth-generation ROADS intelligent control system, with better matching between the engine and hydraulic system, upgraded main valve and pipelines, and a 50% reduction in system pressure loss, making drilling more fuel-efficient and construction more stable. The ZR180G is equipped with large-flow pump valves (220 class) and, with high torque, high rotation speed and the rapid pressure/lifting function of the pressurized cylinder, is more efficient during the cylinder's idle stroke. It can handle strongly weathered formations and can also easily spin off soil, featuring economy, efficiency, energy saving and fuel saving.
