Accelerating the capital's "transfer era"

As a new gateway to Beijing, the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center Station Comprehensive Transportation Hub is one of the 10 national passenger transport hubs and serves as the "bridgehead" for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The project geology is dominated by sand-mud concrete and gravel-cobble strata, with a geological hardness of 40 MPa and cobble particle sizes of 60 mm-200 mm. This not only easily causes the mud pump impeller to jam, but also tends to cause the milling wheels to slip during construction. Under such construction conditions, it is necessary to achieve a wall thickness of 1.5 m and a trench depth of 82 m, which is extremely challenging.

To improve construction efficiency, the project team selected the dual-wheel trench cutter, the crown jewel of piling machinery, for construction. The first to appear was the battle-proven XCMG XTC120 dual-wheel trench cutter. This equipment adopts a fully guided third-generation heavy-duty cutter frame and a third-generation drive unit, with torque increased by 10%, adapting to high-torque hard rock milling.

Appearing alongside it, the XCMG XTC100/105 dual-wheel trench cutter has high milling wheel output torque and can be equipped with cutter teeth according to the geology, offering wide stratum adaptability. At the same time, the XCMG dual-wheel trench cutter is equipped with inclination sensors and a horizontal and vertical bidirectional deviation-correction system, enabling real-time, all-round, high-precision deviation correction, recording and plotting the trenching curve, and effectively ensuring trenching quality and precision, making it an expert at "fine work."

At the construction site, the XCMG dual-wheel trench cutter is at full combat power, with a milling feed rate of 3-5 m/h. With its high quality, high efficiency, and low cost, it helps smoothly advance the Beijing Tongzhou Municipal Administrative Center Transportation Hub Section 04 project, and the equipment's performance has won unanimous praise from multiple parties.

The XCMG dual-wheel trench cutter accelerates the capital's "transfer era" in lifting, lowering, and milling. As the first high-speed railway station in Tongzhou, the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center Station will be completed next year, meeting the travel needs of Tongzhou residents and helping to enhance urban quality.
