On June 2, 2023, Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of the China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as "the Association") and Chairman of Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Exhibition Company"), the organizer of the BICES exhibition, and his delegation visited the Silk Road International Capacity Cooperation Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Silk Road Center") and were warmly received by Deputy Director Yang Guang, Teacher Guo Wenjing, and Teacher Shen Congying of the Silk Road Center. The two sides held in-depth exchanges and discussions on continuing to cooperate in holding the Second International Capacity Cooperation Overseas Contracting Engineering and Construction Machinery Cooperation Forum during the BICES 2023 exhibition, as well as on the Silk Road Center's leading talents visiting the BICES 2023 exhibition.

The two sides reviewed the successful cooperation of the first "International Capacity Cooperation Overseas Contracting Engineering and Machinery Cooperation Forum and Silk Road Center Leading Talents Visiting BICES" event (hereinafter referred to as "the Forum"), which was jointly held by the Association and the Silk Road Center during the BICES 2019 exhibition. The Forum received unanimous praise from the participating engineering contracting units and construction machinery industry enterprises. With the continuous development of construction machinery equipment in recent years in terms of intelligence, green development, and high-end orientation, and in order to better serve the Belt and Road Initiative and further promote and deepen the collaboration and connectivity between supply and demand sides in Belt and Road construction projects, the Association and the Silk Road Center will continue to cooperate in holding the Second Forum during the BICES 2023 exhibition.

The two sides have tentatively scheduled the Second Forum to be held on the afternoon of the third day of the BICES 2023 exhibition (September 22). Building on the first Forum, it will be comprehensively upgraded in multiple aspects, including content design and guest invitations, and will add content and segments such as sharing of cooperation case results and on-site signing, so as to expand the audience and scope of influence as much as possible, achieve better results for the Forum, and make it a brand event of the BICES exhibition.

Finally, both sides agreed to make persistent efforts, strengthen cooperation, and go all out to carry out all work well, striving to take this event to an even higher level! They hope that this Forum will receive the attention, support, and participation of more industry enterprises, and that through the BICES platform, a solid bridge will be built for enterprises to "go global"!
