Recently, Taiheng Foundation's flagship model KR125A rotary drilling rig carried out over-water construction in the Ganjiang River basin in Nanchang, Jiangxi, supporting the Ganjiang regional bridge construction project.

The geological conditions at the site are mainly silt, silty sand, silty clay and mudstone. The drilled piles are 1.2 m in diameter and 23-25 m deep. The equipment operates on barges and works in water, and the silt layer is a hole-collapse-prone stratum, making construction quite difficult. Taiheng Foundation dispatched dedicated construction-method specialists to provide full-time on-site service, safeguarding the customer throughout the construction process and demonstrating its consistent business philosophy and core value of "creating value for customers." Leveraging the unique advantages of small equipment—a lightweight build suited to over-water construction combined with high construction efficiency—Taiheng Foundation met the project department's need to balance equipment weight and efficiency, and found the optimal solution for future bridge support pile construction, making the project a win-win.

Through years of accumulation and investment, Wuxi Taiheng Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. has, through cooperation with customers or independent construction, used small rotary drilling rigs to complete construction applications in many new fields such as fishery-solar complementary projects, dam reinforcement, underground utility tunnels and over-water construction, contributing to the promotion and application of small rotary drilling methods in China.
